1970(H) Rolls Royce Silver Shadow. Metallic Regal Red with Beige leather interior. Usual period refinements including working air-conditioning, power steering, electric windows, original radio plus additional 8 track stereo player, electric seats, electric aerial, sheepskin rugs, rear footrests, original tool kit etc. Jersey car from new with only 2 owners up to 2019 and only 63,500 miles and fully stamped service history. Amazing original rust free condition with superb panel fit and whisper quiet engine. As it has been unused for several years we will be having a complete cosmetic refurbishment done on the whole car. Currently she is awaiting re-commissioning and would need a full repaint to bring to pristine condition, work to the brakes which are sticking on ( all new hydraulic hoses have just been fitted ), re-varnishing of the 4 door cappings, new bootlid rubber, blowing exhaust system attended to, 2 new tyres plus sundry small jobs. Will certainly be one of the nicest Series 1 Shadows on the road. Lovely colour scheme. Re-issued with it’s original UK H plate allocated before shipping to Jersey.
£ 8,500 as is or
£ 19,995 following refurbishment

Classic Motoring Art

We have a number of signed original artist's proofs ( prova d'artista ) by the established Italian motor racing artist Francesco Scianna. These are the original proofs returned to the artist for minor alterations prior to production of a limited edition run of prints. Each proof differs slightly from the others ( possibly not easy to see in my photographs ) and are therefore all unique and are rarely available on the open market. Each proof is signed personally by the artist. The scene appears to depict racing from the 1950's with a Jaguar XK120 and Jaguar D-Type in evidence.

Francesco Scianna is from Padua in Italy and is an accomplished and well recognised artist known best for his Impressionist motor racing scenes from the 1940s, 1950s and 1960s.

The proofs are not currently framed and are mounted in protective heavy paper sleeves. The price includes free postage anywhere in the UK in protective tubes.

The sizes are 295mm x 420mm

£ 125 each including postage

Undergoing some refurbishment, hopefully available late 2020.

1978(S) Mercedes 450SLC Coupe LEFT-HAND DRIVE. Dark Metallic Green with original Light Green velour upholstery. Automatic, power steering, electric windows, factory alloy wheels, radio etc. This pretty coupe is in good useable condition. She had a repaint in recent years in Holland and has both Netherlands and UK registration documents. These pretty coupes seem to be appreciating quickly in value and are comfortable classic motoring. Showing 170,000 km ( about 105,000 miles ) but with little history as the car is believed to have come from deceased estate in Holland. Has recently had new camshafts and is now having the bumpers re-chromed and other cosmetic improvements. Good value for money and likely to appreciate and an ideal candidate for a rolling renovation or to put in storage for a few years as the value increases.
